- High shear mixers are designed to completely combine fluid, gaseous, and solid components that would not mix completely using conventional methods. They make use of a fluid dynamics phenomenon known as shear strain to combine difficult-to-mix materials.
- High shear mixers use a series of high-speed impellers rotating within a stationary housing to effectively mix one component material introduced into a constant flow of another at differing speeds.
- The mixer features a precision high speed rotor which creates vigorous pulsing action as it draws liquid into stator inlet. Liquid is discharged at high velocity through machined slots in stator. This is a combination of hydraulic and mechanical number.
